Lumesse In Running for Three Learning Technologies Awards

Shortlisted for Excellence in Design, Best Blended Learning, Designer of the Year Categories

BRIGHTON, ENGLAND & HOVE, ENGLAND   September 27, 2016:  Lumesse Learning, the learning division of Lumesse, the global leader in talent solutions, has been shortlisted for three prestigious Learning industry awards. The group is being recognized for projects with SAB Miller and Lloyds Bank as well as individual recognition for its lead designer of learning programs.

The Learning Technologies Awards recognize highest achievement in learning across eighteen categories and disciplines. Highly sought recognition, this year’s competition attracted eLearning solutions entries from around the world, with fifteen countries represented in the final shortlist.

Lumesse Learning is shortlisted in three categories.

  • Best blended learning project.  When consumer behaviors changed, a large multinational brewing and beverage company headquartered in London, England needed to reorient customer-facing employees to value-versus-volume thinking as a way to boost profitability. With 3000 sales and marketing employees spread across a sprawling geography the company recognized this as an L&D challenge. By blending a variety of learning methodologies with personalized learning journeys the company exceeded its adoption and financial objectives by over 50%. Lumesse’s scenario-based digital learning modules are recognized for making a vital contribution to this success.
  • Excellence in the design of learning content.  A large UK bank knew that morale of its employees was directly linked to an understanding of how bonuses were awarded. Finding a way to educate 6000 managers on complex and less-than-exciting material and do it in a way that encouraged program adoption was the challenge. With Lumesse Learning, the bank’s People Centre of Excellence created a series of animations, video and applications designed to bring the bonus calculations to life. Of the 6000 employees required to take the training, 99% complied and an additional 14,000 employees voluntarily completed it.
  • Designer of the Year. Lucy Matthews of Lumesse Learning is recognized for exceptional contribution across multiple engagements, many of which have been award-winning efforts.
